Rouhani: Western sanctions boosted Iran’s military power

showimage-ashx3[1]On January 1, 2015, after overseeing a massive naval parade near the southern port city of Jask in the Sea of Oman, Iranianpresident Hassan Rouhani said that the western sanctions have failed to stop the country’s progress in major military, industrial and trading fields. He also asserted that the sanctions not only failed to curb Iran’s Armed Forces but instead have boosted by encouraging reliance on domestic capabilities.

Allah willing, and through unity and solidarity among the people, government, and Armed Forces, Iran will make progress every day in every aspect and no superpower will be able to dent our authority and independence,” President Rouhani said.

The western powers lead by the United States imposed military and economic sanctions against Iran after the 1979 Islamic Revolution in order to protect American and Israeli interests in the Middle East.

With a modest annual military budget of $6 billion as compared to Israel’s $13.7 billion plus $3.1 billion annual military aid, and Saudi Arabia’s $34 billion  – Iran is the only country amongst 57 Muslim nation-states which produces locally more than 80% of it conventional arms, such as, jets, navy ships, tanks, armored personnel carriers, towed artillery, ammunition, fighter jets, helicopters, petrol crafts, rockets, anti-aircraft rockets, multiple rocket systems, anti-aircraft defense system and pilotless drones.

In December 2011, UK’s former foreign secretary David Owen (Jewish family roots) wrote that after the withdrawal of American occupation forces from Iraq, Iran has become the most powerful nation in the region.

Some readers may not be aware of the fact that Iran is the only nation whose armed forces are not under the elected executive authority, but under the Guardian of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatullah Ali Khamenei under country’s Constitution. However, under the Constitution, a military coup against an elected administration is the highest national treason punishable with death by a citizen. This is the very reason that the Jewish Lobby has always ran a smearing campaign against Imam Khomeini and Ayatullah Ali Khamenei.

Israeli generals have admitted that Israel cannot stop Iran becoming a nuclear power. American ‘experts’ on Iran believe that a US-Israel military strike on Iranian nuclear facilities will delay Iran’s ambition to produce a nuclear device but will fail to stop country’s nuclear program. On the other hand, any such military action will push the anti-government population to support the government.

Tehran, on the other hand, has always denied its alleged ‘nuclear ambition’. As a matter of fact, Iran’s nuclear energy and medical isotopes are all accounted for in IAEA

inspections with no rational evidence that Iran is using its nuclear program for military use. However, the Zionist warmongering gansters lead by Obama, Sarkozy, Markel, Cameron and Bibi keep parroting lies about Iran’s nuclear program without any shame.

People who have visited the Islamic Republic of Iran, confess that they found the country and Iranians totally different from the pictures painted by the Jewish-controlled western media.
A place like Iran has two sides – the one created by the media and the other version, the truth, where everyone helps you when you travel and everyone smiles at you. It’s great,” AFP cited Piotr Chwalba, from Poland. Read morehereherehereand here.
