The Syrian army continued operations against positions of terrorist organizations in different areas across the country, repelling their attack attempts and eliminating many of their groups, state-run SANA news agency reported.
In Daraa, an army unit destroyed vehicles for al-Nusra Front terrorists, leaving all those on board dead in Tal al-Mal near the Zionist-occupied territories, a military source said.
Many terrorists were killed as an army unit carried out special operations against their positions to the west of al-Yadouda Camp in the western countryside of Daraa. The terrorists’ vehicles were destroyed, according to the source.
At the eastern entrance of the city, an army unit killed a number of terrorists and destroyed their vehicles in western al-Nueimeh town, the source.
Terrorists were also targeted in different areas in Daraa al-Balad and Daraa al-Mahatta neighborhoods in the city.
In the neighboring Quneitra province, the army units killed many terrorists and destroyed their weapons and equipment in Mas’hara village and the strategic Tal al-Harra (hill).
In Homs, army units clashed with terrorists of the so-called 'Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant' (ISIL) takfiri group who were attempting to attack military points in the area surrounding Palmyra city in Homs.
A military source said a number of terrorists were killed, others were injured, and their ammo, weapons, and vehicles equipped with machineguns were destroyed during the clashes.
Another army unit thwarted ISIL terrorists’ attempt to infiltrate towards Palmyra city, eliminating many of them.
In the eastern countryside of Homs, the army carried out operations against ISIL gatherings in Rajm al-Qassr, Habra al-garbia, Um Sahrij, and Khatmalo, resulting in the death of many terrorists and the destruction of their weaponry and ammunition.
Media outlets confirmed the death of 115 ISIL members, 3 of them leaders in the organization, in al-Sukhna town and in Palmyra countryside.
A military source told SANA that army units have fortified their positions in the perimeter of Palmyra city, waging fierce battles against ISIL in the farms north and east of the city, killing and injuring scores of terrorists.
In Aleppo, an army unit destroyed supply routes for terrorists of al-Nusra Front and other organizations in targeting their hideouts in A'zaz city in the northwestern countryside of the province.
The army operations in the southern countryside resulted in the killing of many terrorists and the destruction of their weapons and vehicles in the villages of Ebtin and Azzan, the source told SANA.
The terrorists also suffered heavy losses as the army units targeted their positions in Khan al-Assal in southwestern Aleppo.
Meanwhile, an army unit killed a number of terrorists and destroyed their hideouts and vehicles in special operations against their gatherings in the village of al-Ameriyeh in the southeastern countryside.
Terrorists’ hideouts, weapons and ammunition were destroyed in al-Mansourah village, 10 km west of Aleppo city.

In Idleb, a military source told SANA that army units waged fierce battles against terrorists north of al-Mastouma hill and at the outskirts of Falion village in the countryside, preventing terrorists from infiltrating al-Mastouma village, inflicting heavy losses upon them.
In Hasaka, an army unit found on Monday 13 explosive devices while combing Rad Shakra village in the eastern countryside of Hasaka.
A source at Hasaka province told SANA that engineering units dismantled the explosive devices which were planted by terrorists from ISIS in houses and farms, before fleeing from the army or being killed in clashes.
Each explosive device contained large amounts of explosives and weighed between 25 and 50 kg, the source added.
Syria was hit by a violent unrest since mid-March 2011, where the western media reports accuse countries, mainly the USA, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Qatar of orchestrating the civil conflict in the country and providing terrorist groups with money, weapons and trained mercenaries.
On May 2011, Syrian army launched a wide-scale operation against armed groups and gunmen operating in the country, who started to escape the army blows and infiltrate illegally to Lebanon.
