Yemen: Saudi-US aggressionIn retaliation for the repeated and continuous US-Saudi attacks against the Yemeni people, the national army and the Popular Committees stormed on Monday the Saudi Al-Makhrooq military position, overlooking the Najran area, Al-Massira TV channel reported.

The army, joined by the Committees, also destroyed four enemy armored vehicles and two other vehicles during the campaign against the Saudi Towaileq military position.

Earlier on Monday, the Yemeni forces, including the Committee, repelled an attack carried out by terrorists of al-Qaeda takfiri group on a cement factory in Lahj province, leaving several attackers killed or injured.

Moreover, the Yemeni forces and residents of border areas confronted the Saudi-US aggression by shelling Saudi military positions.

In another development, various media outlets reported that a huge bomb blast went off in Khamis Mosheat military base south of Saudi Arabia, which contains a military airport.

Yemen has been since March 26 under brutal aggression by Saudi-US coalition. Thousands have been martyred and injured in the attack, with the vast majority of them are civilians.
Riyadh launched the attack on Yemen in a bid to restore power to Yemen’s fugitive president Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi who is a close ally to Saudi Arabia.

On April 21, Saudi Arabia declared the end of the aggression, dubbed “Decisive Strom,” and the start of another campaign called “Restoring Hope.” The Saudi-led warplanes are still conducting airstrikes on several areas across Yemen.
