Yemen Qaeda commander Abdol Wahhab al-Hmaiqani, who is blacklisted by the US Treasury Department, is participating in Geneva talks and appeared shaking hands with UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon.
Al-Hmaiqani, one of the major Qaeda funders in Yemen, is hosted in Geneva, while the US airstrikes targeted Qaeda commanders in that country, what raise the suspicion about how the American administration and Saudi deal with the terrorist group.
One of the hypotheses indicate that the US and Saudi attempt to keep Qaeda commanders under their control and eradicate them when they violate the set limits.
In this context, the US air raids have so far killed seven of Yemen Qaeda commanders who have announced their intentions to extend their activities to reach other countries, as a Saudi spy, who was behind the killing of the terrorist leaders, was detected.

Five terrorist explosions went off in Sanaa on Wednesday evening, hours before the holy month of Ramadan started, killing 31 civilians and injuring scores others. The terrorist blasts targeted four mosques and a bureau of Ansarullah political movement. Three car bombs exploded in the capital targeting three different mosques during the evening prayers, one at the airport road, another in Jarraf neighborhood and the other in Zera'a neighborhood, as an improvised explosive device (IED) went off in front of Kabsi mosque in Zera'a street. The last car bomb exploded in front of the house of Ansarullah official, Saleh Al-Saamadi. The so-called 'Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant' (ISIL) takfiri group claimed responsibility for the five terrorist blasts that turned Ramadan eve into a bloody night. Yemen has been under brutal aggression by Saudi-US coalition since Saudi Arabia launched military strikes against its southern neighbor on March 26 without a UN mandate. Thousands have been martyred and injured in the attack, with the vast majority of them are civilians. Terrorist explosion didn't stop as well, claiming the lives of innocent and armless people of Yemen. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), over 2,600 people have so far lost their lives during the conflict in Yemen till June 14. However the death toll released by local authorities puts it much higher at about 4,300. According to a recent report by Freedom House Foundation, most of the victims of the Saudi-US aggression are civilians, including a large number of women and children. Riyadh launched the attack on Yemen in a bid to restore power to Yemen’s fugitive president Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi who is a close ally to Saudi Arabia. | ||||
