Zenobia broadcast TV station launched to join the Syrian media family
Damascus, SANA- A new Syrian TV Channel was launched from Damascus Saturday night.
The newly-born TV channel, Zanoubia, is to broadcast from Damascus first as a “slide TV”, then to broadcast “live” as a satellite channel, Information Minister Omran Al-Zoubi said at launching ceremony held at Damascus Sheraton Hotel.
“Syria’s media, public and private proved during the last four years of the crisis to deserve respect as a resistance media providing a number of martyrs from its cadres while its field covering of battles with terrorism in the country.
Tamer Balbissi, Chairman of Zanoubia Board of Directors said his channel is a new voice added to the existing Syrian mass media to be a point of contact between citizens and officials and between the expatriates and the homeland to reflect the voice of Syrian people and their will of life.
Zanoubia TV can be watched at Nilesat, H12034.
A number of officials attended lunching ceremony.
