Syrian Army cutting off supply routes for mercenary-terrorists in Aleppo northern countryside

(3 February 2016) ~ Continued army operations in Aleppo resulted in cutting off a supply route for terrorists in the northern countryside, while army units in other areas targeted more positions, destroying their equipment and killing many of them.

Aleppo
Army units, in cooperation with the backup forces, destroyed vehicles equipped with heavy machine guns belonging to Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in the surroundings of Maarasta al-Khan village and near Byanoun poultry facility in the northern countryside of Aleppo, as reported by military spokeperson to SANA journalists.

Other army units, in cooperation with the popular committees in Nubbul and al-Zahraa towns, completely cut off the terrorists’ supply route between the towns of Mayer town and Maarasta al-Khan.

Meanwhile, the terrorist organizations acknowledged on their social media pages the death of a terrorist group’s leader named Omar Qteish and his assistant Abu Hamza al-Halabi, in addition to a leader within Jaish al-Sham who is nicknamed Abu Saleh al-Deiri

Syrian Army restores security to Hardatnin village in Aleppo northern countryside
(2 February 2016) ~ The army units continued advancing in different areas across the country, targeting the positions and dens of terrorist organizations and inflicting heavy losses upon them.

Aleppo
Units of the army and the armed forces, in cooperation with the popular defense groups, restored stability and security to Hardatnin village in the northern countryside of Aleppo after inflicting heavy losses upon Jabhat al-Nusra and other terrorist organizations in arms and personnel.
A field source told SANA on Tuesday that units of the army continued to advance in the northern countryside of Aleppo as they carried out a military operation where they restored peace and security to Hardatnin village, in addition to imposing a fire control over Ritan village to the south of Hardatnin.
The source added that the engineering units combed the village and dismantled the explosive devices and the landmines planted by terrorists in the village before many of them were killed and scores fled towards the north.
Meanwhile, units of the army in Bashkwa area in the northern countryside are carrying out a military operation to cut the supply routes of the terrorist organizations which spread in a number of neighborhoods in Aleppo City as on Monday peace and security were restored to the villages of Dwair al-Zaitoun and Tal Jabeen in the northern countryside.

Hama/Idleb
Ten positions and a number of vehicles and rocket launching pads belonging to Jaish al-Fateh terrorists were destroyed during army operations in the countryside of Idleb and Hama provinces.
The source confirmed to SANA that 37 terrorists from Jabhat al-Nusra were killed in operations carried out by the army over the past 24 hours in al-Latamneh, Latmin and Mourek in the northern countryside of Hama.
Two command centers for the terrorists were destroyed in Mourek, another position and two vehicles were destroyed in Latmin, while a third position and a bulldozer were destroyed in al-Latamneh.
In Idleb countryside, 33 terrorists from Jabhat al-Nusra were killed in intensive operations in Abu al-Duhour, Saraqeb and al-Tamanaa. Four of the terrorists’ positions and three vehicles were destroyed.
A position for terrorists from the so-called “Fursan al-Haq” and five TAO rocket launching pads were destroyed in Kafr Nubbul in Idleb countryside.
Homs
The army, supported by Syrian air force, destroyed dens and cells of ISIS terrorists in Mahsa, Tloul al-Sud and al-Qaryatin town in Homs eastern countryside.
The army’s air force carried out several raids on gatherings of ISIS terrorists in Job al-Jarah region, destroying their dens and killing a number of them.
Meanwhile, another army unit killed a group of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists and destroyed their equipment and weapons in the villages of Kisin, al-ghajar and al-Rastan city.
Daraa
An army unit destroyed a vehicle transporting a number of terrorists to the west of
Atman town in the southern Daraa province, according to a military source.

The source also said the army unit left all members of a terrorist group dead or injured as it targeted their position in the northern part of the town.
In the eastern countryside of Daraa, an army unit destroyed a bulldozer which terrorists were using to establish barricades and fortifications to the northwest of Um Walad village.
To the north of Daraa city, the army operations targeted gatherings of terrorists, destroying a mortar launcher in the area surrounding Tafas city and killing most members of a terrorist group who were moving on Tafas-Daraa road.
Deir Ezzor
An army unit carried out a special operation in al-Aridi neighborhood in the northeast outskirts of Deir Ezzor city, destroying an ISIS’ site and a vehicle loaded with ammunition and weaponry, according to field sources.
The sources confirmed the killing of 7 ISIS terrorists during an army’s operation in Ma’adan neighborhood, including Maizar al-Shaoish, Mahmoud al-Hid and Ahmad Fayad al-Nassir.
An army unit eliminated 13 ISIS members in al-Hawika neighborhood, 5 terrorists near al-Sina’a area and 11 terrorists in the area surrounding al- Swiaia in the outskirts of al-Bo Kamal city.
Meanwhile, websites of ISIS acknowledged that the organization had killed 43 of its members, accusing them of attempting to flee to Iraqi territories.
The Syrian army restores security and stability to villages in Aleppo countryside
(1 February 2016) ~ An army unit, in cooperation with the backup forces, restored security and stability to Dweir al-Zaitoun village in the northern countryside of Aleppo province, SANA reporter said on Monday.

Meanwhile, army units destroyed positions, supply routes and vehicles for the terrorist organizations in the towns of Byanon and Hraitan on the road leading to Turkey which provides them with arms and terrorists, a military source said.

Army units in cooperation with popular defense groups also restored security and stability to Tal Jabeen village in the northern countryside of Aleppo.
More terrorists of ISIS and al-Nusra killed in Aleppo city and countryside
More positions and hotbeds for Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization were destroyed in army operations in al-Sheikh Lutfi and al-Rashedeen neighborhoods in Aleppo city.
The army destroyed hideouts and vehicles equipped with weapons and ammunition for ISIS terrorist organization in special operations against their positions in the villages of al-Seen and Rasm and the farms of al-Taibeh village in the eastern countryside of Aleppo province.
For its part, the so called “al-Ferqa al-Shamaliyeh” terrorist group admitted the death of 7 of its members.
Hama
A unit of the army carried out a special operation against a gathering for Jaish al-Fatah terrorists in al-Sirmaniyah village in Hama north-western countryside, killing a number of the terrorists and destroying their vehicles.
Meanwhile, field sources said the army destroyed dens for terrorists in the outskirts of al-Ghab plain, killing terrorists Haitham al-Na’asan and Khaled Abul-Salam.
Homs
A unit of the army killed a number of ISIS terrorists and destroyed their munitions while they were trying to attack a military point in al-Makale’e region to the west of Palmyra in Homs countryside.
