Report: ISIL Kills Its Wounded Militants to Sell Body Organs
(FNA, 19/4/2016) ~ The ISIL (Daesh, ISIS, IS) Takfiri terrorist group has boosted its organ trade by killing its own militants who have been injured in heavy clashes with the Syrian government troops and popular forces in order to sell their body organs, media reports said.
“Doctors were threatened to take out the body organs of a wounded ISIL militant,” the Arabic-language al-Sabah newspaper quoted an unnamed source in the city of Mosul.
The Takfiri terrorists are suffering shortage of budget after their recent loss of territory in the Southern part of Mosul and for the same reason it is killing its own militants who have been injured in Southern Mosul to take out their body organs such as hearts and kidneys to sell them in the black market.
In a relevant development last month, media reports said that the ISIL terrorist group was using organ harvesting as a way to finance its operations and save the lives of injured members, media reports said on Tuesday.
The Spanish daily El Mondo reported that facing the increased number of wounded members in the Syrian army and popular forces’ attacks, the ISIL is using the body organs of its captives for transplantation.
According to the report, the ISIL also forces the prisoners in Mosul jails to donate blood and postpones the execution of those sentenced to death to use their blood as much as possible.
The ISIL doesn’t merely use the organs of its captives and prisoners’ bodies for transplantation to its members but it sells them to other countries as a lucrative business, it added.
Medical sources told El Mondo that the personnel in one of hospitals in Mosul have seen corpses of at least 183 people whose organs had been taken out of their bodies.
According to the report, the ISIL has set up a medical team in Mosul headed by a German physician which exports the body organs to Syria and the Iraqi Kurdistan region for transplantation to its members or selling.
Iraqi Ambassador to the United Nations Mohamed Alhakim had made the same revelations last year, saying that the ISIL is trafficking human organs and has executed a dozen doctors for failing to go along with the program.
Alhakim based his claim on the discovery of dozens of bodies left in shallow mass graves near the city of Mosul, currently an ISIL stronghold. Surgical incisions, along with missing kidneys and other body parts lead to an inescapable conclusion. “We have bodies. Come and examine them. It is clear they are missing certain parts,” Alhakim revealed. He further described the carnage:
“When we discover mass graves, we look at the bodies. Some of those bodies are killed by bullets, some of them by knives. But when you find pieces of the back is missing and the kidneys is missing, you will wonder what it is.”
ISIL Trafficking Body Organs of Living People

Seized ISIL Documents: “Harvesting of Organs” and A Department for “War Spoils”
(FNA, 29/12/2015) ~ In May 2015, US Special Operation Forces conducted a raid on the ISIL stronghold of al-Raqqa in eastern Syria. The hunt was the terror Organization’s top commander known as Aby Sayyaf, who oversaw the gas and oil operations.
However, a treasure of seized documents that disclose the group’s deepest secrets is not less valuable than the financial treasurer.
The documents, issued by ISIL’ Research and Fatwa Committee, outline the mechanisms and religious justifications by which it deals with a number of issues, RT said in a report.
Some of the [documents] explicitly and brazenly grant Wahhabi jihadists the permission to transplant healthy organs from the “apostate’s” body into a Muslim in order to save the latter’s life or replace a damaged organ, even if the cost was his [the apostate] life.
Oddly enough, however opposes the group’s ideology is labeled ‘apostate”.
The Wahhabi interpretation of Islam adopted by ISIL has even pushed them further. For them [ISIL] it is permissible to kill an apostate and eat his flesh if deemed necessary. Thus, incarnating Cannibalism in its ugliest practices.
A deeper insight into how the group makes its money is also revealed. Documents obtained by Reuters confirm that ISIL has set up departments to handle war spoils including male slaves, sex slaves (Sabaya), confiscated movable and immovable assets.
The sex-obsessed group has obviously made efforts to organize the wild sex appeals of its fighters through giving them the undeniable right to have sex with the enslaved women captured from vanquishing ‘infidels’.
A booklet entitled “From Creator’s Rulings on Capturing Prisoners and Enslavement” was entirely dedicated to this matter. Other departments to supervise the lucrative oil and gas trade, framing the statehood image have been also established.
Israeli Man Arrested in Istanbul for Selling Syrian Refugees’ Body Organs
(FNA, 8/12/2015) ~ Turkish police arrested an Israeli man for selling the body organs of the Syrian refugees in Istanbul.
Boris Walker also known as Boris Wolfman was arrested for performing illegal surgeries on the Syrian refugees in small Turkish clinics.
Patients illegally receiving an organ had to pay between €70,000 and €100,000, according to an indictment lodged against him, whereas the refugee organ donors received very small amount of money, resulting in tens of thousands of euros in profit for each transplant.
Wolfman was wanted by the Interpol, the international police organization, for past organ trafficking.
The organ trafficker had put ads in the Russian newspapers to find potential donors. Wolfman did not explain to the donors about the physical and mental risks they face, denying them any information they needed to have before making their decision.
A Turkish court ruled to extradite Wolfman back to Israel after a 40-day arrest period.
Wolfman has previously been charged with organ trafficking and organizing illegal transplants in Kosovo, Azerbaijan, and Sri Lanka, in a series of alleged offenses committed between 2008 and 2014.
In Kosovo, organ donors were allegedly released without any medical supervision, explanation about needed medical treatments, or critical health advice. At least one teenage boy, who had his kidney removed, was paralyzed after not receiving proper treatment.
The black market for organs has been flourishing in the Middle East in the past few years, with the influx of millions of refugees. In 2013, Lebanese smugglers told Der Spiegel that, because of the desperation in which many refugees live, there are “more sellers than buyers.
Many refugees have lost everything, and have given smugglers their life savings and even sacrificed their lives in dangerous voyages in hopes of seeking asylum in a European continent that has been largely hostile to their arrival.
Almost 4.3 million Syrian refugees are registered with the UN. Millions are crowded into densely population refugee camps in neighboring Turkey, Jordan, and Lebanon. Many live on the street, and few have access to basic resources or job prospects.
Traffickers have taken advantage of Syrian refugees’ desperation, in hopes of making money.
Iraq: ISIL Trafficking Human Organs
(FNA, 18/2/2015) ~ The Iraqi ambassador to the United Nations said the country has evidence of possible organ trafficking by the ISIL terrorists.
The Iraqi government has found evidence of possible organ trafficking by the ISIL terrorists in recent weeks in mass graves containing 10 to 20 bodies each, said Iraq’s Ambassador to the UN Mohamed Ali Alhakim at a UN Security Council session in New York on Tuesday, adding that the bodies had incisions on their backs, al-Bawaba reported.
“Some of the bodies we have found are mutilated, some parts are missing,” Alhakim said. “Why would a part be missing? It’s another form of financing.”
“These terrorist groups have desecrated all human values. They have committed the most heinous criminal terrorist acts against the Iraqi people whether Shiite, Sunni, Christians, Turkmen, Shabak or Yazidis,” he stated.
“These are in fact crimes of genocide committed against humanity that must be held accountable before international justice,” Alhakim added.
The Iraqi envoy also said the militants had killed ten doctors in the past weeks for refusing to remove organs from bodies.
The 15-member UN body adopted a resolution on February 12 aimed at blocking off the revenues of the group operating in Syria and Iraq.
In his final address to the Security Council as special representative and head of the UN Assistance Mission for Iraq, Nikolay Mladenov said that while the ISIL continued to commit severe crimes against men, women and children, the country’s political, community and religious leaders had “coalesced to save their country from terror”.
Mladenov further expressed concerns about the safety of the civilians in ISIL-controlled regions. He said stakes are particularly high for thousands of women and children still in captivity of the terrorists.
The UN envoy to Iraq said that 60 percent of humanitarian operations in Iraq were likely to shut down or be curbed unless funding was received in the coming weeks.
The ISIL militants took control of the northern Iraqi city of Mosul in June 2014 before sweeping through parts of the country’s Sunni Arab heartland. Militants had earlier captured some areas in neighboring Syria.
Mladenov went on to say that violence left at least 12,000 civilians dead and more than 23,000 people injured in 2014 alone as a result of the violence perpetrated by the militants.
Israeli Women Sell Organs Due to Economic Distress
(FNA, 23/4/2014) ~ Many young Israeli women agree to sell their organs because of their dire economic situation, police report said.
The women reportedly travelled to Turkey to undergo surgery. The removed organs, usually kidneys, were then transplanted into patients, press tv reported.
“This is a very severe case involving the exploitation of young women in very serious economic distress, who were convinced to travel to other countries and donate their organs, with some having second thoughts at the end of the process, only to realize it was too late,” said officer Peretz Amar, commander of the Negev subdistrict police.
According to Israeli police on Tuesday, an inquiry has begun into an international organ trafficking ring stretching from Israel to Turkey. The probe is focused on the Southern Israeli town of Be’er Sheva and involves cases of women aged 18 to 20.
A physician from central Israel is also suspected of carrying out tissue tests of the patients and the donors and advising them before the surgery, police said.
A report by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development in August 2013 indicated, “The incomes of about one in five Israeli households fall below the (relative) poverty line.”
In 2012, at least 10 Israeli citizens were arrested for membership in an organ trafficking gang. It also included organs of the Palestinians killed by the Israelis.
Israel admitted in 2009 that it had harvested organs from dead Palestinians without permission from their next of kin in the 1990s.
Turkish Hospitals Traffick Injured Syrian Citizens’ Organs
(FNA, 5/2/2014) ~ Turkish hospitals which receive the wounded Syrian citizens steal their body organs to be sold in the black market.
According to a report by the Lebanese al-Safir daily, trafficking the injured Syrian people’s body organs is a phenomenon which has intensified in Turkish governmental hospitals.
Ahmad Abdulkarim Muhammad, a 19-year-old young Syrian, is one of the victims of this phenomenon. He was injured in Syria in January and was transferred to Antakya hospital in Southern Turkey and died after a few days.
Despite being transferred to the hospital for head injuries, a video released after his death shows that his abdomen has gone under surgery operations which indicates stealing of his vital organs, including kidneys, liver, etc.
Earlier reports also said that Turkish authorities are engaged in trafficking body organs of injured Syrians that are taken to Turkey for treatment.
The Lebanese newspaper al-Diyar reported that Turkish authorities transfer young injured Syrians to certain hospitals in the Turkish cities of Antakya and Iskenderun.
The report added that the Turks leave the injured Syrians alone to die after their body organs are removed in the hospitals. The dead are later sent to the Syrian border region to be buried.
Turkish doctors have confirmed that out of 62,000 injured Syrian civilian and military people who were transported into Turkey, body organs of over 15,600 of them were excised and their bodies were sent back into Syria to be buried, al-Diyar stated.
Turkish officials have made no comments over the issue so far.
The Lebanese newspaper also states that the body organs, including livers, kidneys and hearts are given to people waiting for treatment in Turkey.
Al-Diyar said European scientific websites acknowledged that body organ transplantation operations had increased in Turkey over the past two years, since the beginning of the crisis in Syria.
