19 April 2016 ~ The Syrian Army Air Force on Tuesday launched air strikes against DAESH (ISIS, ISIL, IS) gatherings and positions destroying their gatherings and vehicles in a number of provinces, while army units killed a number of mercenary-terrorists in Sweida.
Aleppo
Army units carried out operations against gatherings and fortifications of ISIS and Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in Aleppo, inflicting heavy losses in personnel and munitions upon them.
A military source said in a statement to SANA that army units destroyed positions and vehicles for ISIS terrorists during concentrated strikes against their gatherings in al-Mahdoum village near Manbej and in Abad, Deir Qaqo, al-Madiyouneh and Abu Taltal villages to the direction of al-Bab city 38 kilometers to the east of Aleppo.
Another army unit carried out an operation against gatherings and posts where terrorists are active in Deir Hafer city 52 kilometers to the east of Aleppo, destroying a vehicle equipped with a machine gun and fortifications as well as killing a number of terrorists.
The army operations against fortifications and positions of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists and other terrorist organizations affiliated to it in al-Eis village 30 kilometers to the south of Aleppo destroyed fortifications and dens for the terrorist organization and killed a number of terrorists.
Army units carried out accurate operations in al-Rashideen 4, al-Ameriyeh and Salah- Eddin neighborhoods in Aleppo city, destroying hotbeds of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists and other terrorist organization linked to it.

Homs
Syrian Army Air Force launched airstrikes against ISIS terrorist organization in the eastern countryside of Homs province.
The Syrian air force launched raids against dens and routes used by ISIS terrorists in south and north al-Shendakhiya and al-Sawanaa some 70 km in the eastern countryside of Homs.
The Syrian air force also targeted convoys of ISIS vehicles were moving at the north and east side of Palmyra.
The air raids resulted in destroying a number of ISIS vehicles some were equipped with heavy machine guns.
Deir Ezzor
Syrian army targeted dens of Takfiri terrorists in al-Sena’a neighborhood, in Deir Ezzor city, destroying them completely with all arms and military weapons inside, a military source told SANA.
Meanwhile, the Syrian Army Air Force destroyed gatherings and vehicles for ISIS terrorist organization in Heweijet Saqer and al-Baghleiya in Deir Ezzor countryside, the source added.
Earlier Monday, army units destroyed 4 vehicles for ISIS terrorists in al-Jaffra village in the province’s countryside.
Daraa
An army unit destroyed 2 vehicles belonging to Jabhat al-Nusra during accurate strikes against one of its gatherings to the west of the Old Customs Building in al-Manshia neighborhood and on Beir al-Shiah Road to the south of Daraa al-Balad area in Daraa.
During the strikes, numbers of terrorists were killed, others were injured and their weapons and ammunition were destroyed.
Sweida
An army unit carried out a special operation against a terrorist group affiliated to ISIS in Tal Ishihib in the eastern countryside of Sweida.
During the operation, ten ISIS terrorists were killed and their vehicles and ammunition were destroyed.
18 April 2016 ~ Syrian Arab Army and Allied armed forces units killed terrorists, destroyed their vehicles and repelled terrorists’ attempted attacks against military posts on Monday in various provinces in the country.
Aleppo
Army units destroyed vehicles and sites of ISIS during concentrated strikes against their gatherings in the villages of Hazwan, Baza’a, Qbasin and Hussamia to the east of Aleppo city, according to a military source.
The source added that another army unit launched an operation against one of ISIS gatherings in Akola and al-Breij villages in Deir Hafir area, killing number of terrorists and destroying their fortified sites and vehicles.
In Aleppo city, an army unit killed a number of Jabhat al-Nusra members during an accurate operation in Seif al-Dawla neighborhood.
Field sources confirmed in a statement to SANA that a large truck loaded with ammunition was destroyed when an army unit targeted it with a guided missile to the east of Bayanoun town to the northwest of Aleppo.
Hama
A number of terrorists of the so called Jaish Al-Fateh, affiliated to Erdogan and Al Saud regimes, were killed and their vehicles were destroyed at outskirts of Al-Ghab Plain in clashes with the army and armed forces units in the northwestern countryside of Hama province, a military source told SANA.
A unit of the army and armed forces had heavy clashes Monday with terrorist groups tried to attack military posts in the vicinity of Kherbet al-Naqous village, inflicting heavy losses in their ranks and weaponry as well as destroying a number of their vehicles some equipped with heavy machineguns, the source added.
Meanwhile, an army unit destroyed a heavily bombed armored vehicle driven by Turkistani terrorist Abu Mos’ab Al-Jazrawi before reaching a military post in the vicinity of Kherbet al-Naqous village.
The so called Jaish al-Fateh includes hundreds of mercenaries who sneak through the Turkish border to join terrorist organization of Jabhat Al-Nusra and other groups including the so called Ahrar al-Sham Islamic movement, Soqour al-Sham, Jund al-Aqsa, Faylaq al-Sham (Sham legion), Liwa’a Al-Haqq, Jaish al-Sunna and Ajnad Al-Sham.
Lattakia
Units of the army, in cooperation with popular defense groups, foiled an attack attempt by terrorist groups on some military posts in Lattakia northern countryside, inflicting them heavy losses.
The operations ended up with killing a number of terrorists and destroying their equipment.
Daraa
An army unit clashed with a terrorist group from Jabhat al-Nusra in al-Manshiyeh neighborhood in Daraa al-Balad.
An army unit killed a number of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists who attacked a military post to the south of the Old Customs in al-Manshiyeh neighborhood in Daraa al-Balad.
Deir Ezzor
Army destroys 4 heavy vehicles for ISIS terrorists
A unit of the army and armed forces destroyed 4 vehicles for ISIS terrorist organization in Al-Jaffra village in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor province.
The army unit inflicted losses in ISIS personnel and destroyed a tank, a BMB, a vehicle equipped with a 23 mm heavy- machinegun and a bulldozer.
Earlier Saturday, Syrian air force destroyed a number of ISIS vehicles and positions in various areas of Deir Ezzor.
