The Israeli annual poverty report revealed today that the percentage of the population living under the official poverty line stands on 21.7%. In practice every fifth family in Israel is poor.
Israeli Arabs poverty grew to 53.3%. Four out of five East Jerusalemites (Palestinians) live in poverty, a sharp rise over past years.
Zionism, promised to ‘civilise’ the Diaspora Jews and establish an ethical productive society. What we see instead is a gross amplification of the Jewish ghetto condition-a gross divide between rich and poor. And the Palestinians are just ‘Goyim du jour.’
