New York- Worshipers arrived at the Fifth Avenue Synagogue this morning for Festive Holiday prayers only to find the building cordoned off by local police. They were told that the house of prayer was off limits to Jews for an unlimited period of time. Prayers were held in a small park across the street but were cut short when SWAT teams arrived with tear gas and water hoses which were used on the worshipers, causing them to scurry off.
At the back of the synagogue itself, there are a number of tables where the pious study their Holy Texts on a daily basis. It is suspected that these tables are actually used by criminal elements engaging in money laundering and human body organ sale contracts. These criminal activities are under police investigation. Until the culprits are brought to justice, the synagogue will be off limits to all Jews in the area. It is also expected that other Holy Sites will be closed off shortly.
New York’s Mayor Bloomberg was one of the first to arrive at the scene this morning. He was outraged at what he found and immediately contacted Abe Foxman of the ADL. Foxman issued a statement calling the incident anti-Semitic, which took everyone by surprise. The statement also said that it was a gross violation of Democracy and the ADL intends to bring its grievances to the leadership of AIPAC. If that happens, President Obama himself will be forced to get involved or there could be a cut in the funds his administration receives from the charitable institution. There are rumours that there might even be a complaint lodged with the International Court of Justice in the Hague.
It is hoped, that this matter is cleared up shortly, before it becomes an international incident.
The above is FICTION….. SATIRE….. NOT REAL……
BUT…….
The following is TRUE…
Israel closes Ibrahimi Mosque to Muslims; Jews only till Monday
Hebron – The Ibrahimi Mosque was closed to Muslim worshipers Friday night and will not be re-opened for non-Jewish worship until Monday, Director of the Waqf in Hebron Zeid Aj-Ja’bari said Saturday.
Israeli soldiers have been stationed outside the mosque since sundown Friday and blocked Muslim access to Muslim areas of the structure, divided in two since 1994 into discrete sections for Muslim and Jewish worshipers.
Since the attacks at the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem, Muslims have been worried that Israeli forces plan to take control over both the holy sites in the Old City and in Hebron.
The Ibrahimi Mosque was closed for seven days during September, for the Jewish holidays of Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur Aj-Ja’bari added.
