GAZA, (PIC)-- Political advisor to the Palestinian premier Yousuf Rizqa strongly denounced the latest remarks made by head of the unconstitutional government in Ramallah Salam Fayyad about the Palestinian resistance and the Israeli occupation state's security.

In a statement on Sunday, Rizqa described Fayyad's remarks as determinatal to the inter-Palestinian reconciliation and must be considered seriously and firmly, adding that Fayyad denied Hamas and the other factions the right to be part of the security system in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.
The political advisor pointed out that Hamas's talk about the security apparatuses does not include the idea of security pluralism as Fayyad claimed and tried to mislead the viewers, but Hamas always talks about the security partnership and creed that protect the security of Palestinian citizens, not the security of the Israeli occupation state.

He added that Fayyad recognized in his remarks Israel's security and implicitly demanded the Palestinian factions to protect Israel's security and stop their resistance activities.

As for the political pluralism, the Palestinian official stated that this pluralism, if respected, would give the Palestinian people political strength.

Fayyad told the London-based newspaper Al-Sharq Al-Awsat that the security pluralism kills the Palestinian people and their national project, and is inconsistent with the goal of a Palestinian state.

Fayyad also said that Israel's need for security must be seen in a framework that includes the Palestinians' need to live in freedom and dignity in an independent state.

Damascus Last reconciliation Hamas and Fatah meeting resulted in nothing because of Fatah's intransigent attitude towards the security file.
