Zahhar: PA represents a group of mischievous and collaborators
[ 28/01/2011 - 04:24 PM ]
GAZA, (PIC)-- Palestinian lawmaker Dr. Mahmoud Al-Zahhar of Hamas Movement has asserted Thursday that his Movement wasn’t surprised by the documents broadcasted by AL-Jazeera satellite TV channel.
But, he said that the publication of those "genuine" documents have indeed shocked those who thought that the PA in Ramallah was nationalist and working for the good of the Palestinian people and establishing a Palestinian state.
In an interview with the Egyptian Al-Shorooq newspaper, Zahhar explained that his movement differentiates between Fatah as a Movement and the PA as a corrupt institution, saying, "Fatah the Movement was marginalized by the PA that comprises a group of beneficiaries who came from abroad and known for their corruption in addition to a number of mischievous persons rejected by the Palestinian people like Yasser Abd Rabbo and Hassan Asfoor who were communists and now sell their political stands for money".
When asked on what action Hamas would take in the wake of the "disgracing" documents against the PA, Zahhar replied: "Nothing additional" because, he said, Hamas don’t arrest people for political stands but move harsh against collaborators and against those who leak information to the Israeli enemy via the PA in Ramallah.
However, Zahhar explained that the Palestinian parliament has the full right to convene and take the appropriate legislation to cripple such serious compromise on the part of the PA.
Moreover, Zahhar confirmed Hamas's decision of withdrawing any authority given to the negotiating team based on the Cairo declaration in 2006, accusing Abbas and his retinue of disavowing and breaching the declaration.
"They [Abbas and his team] are not authorized to compromise the legal rights and national constants of the Palestinian people… they are a group of opportunists not representing the Palestinian people as evident with the PA legislative elections in 2006… they are claiming to be the only and legitimate representative of the Palestinian people but indeed no one has given them such authority, and it is about time for the Palestinian people inside Palestine and in diaspora to speak out and say their word regarding this matter", Zahhar underlined.
AMB threatens PA leaders behind assassination of Madhoun

GAZA, (PIC)- The Nabil Masood Units, an offshoot of the Aqsa Martyrs Brigades has pledged to let leaders in the PA in Ramallah pay for helping the Israeli occupation in assassinating their leader Hassan Al-Madhoun in 2006.
In a press conference it held in Gaza city over the matter, the group invited the Palestinian people to revolt against the "corrupt" PA in Ramallah and to Make Friday as a day of "revolt and anger" against the corrupt and spies of the Israeli occupation.
"We hold Nasr Yousef, Sameer Al-Mashharawi, Rasheed Abu Shbak, and Mohammed Dahalan fully responsible for the killing of Madhoun, and from now on there will be no salvation for those who conspired and still are conspiring against the Palestinians," the spokesman of the group asserted in the brief press conference.
The group also revealed that the PA has tried to poison Madhoun in 2005 with the aim to kill him after they trapped him and called him for an "important" meeting at the PA president's headquarters that was then in Gaza city but the conspiracy failed after a number of good people let him escape from his jail.
The group added that Madhoun refused to heed calls from the PA interior ministry under Nasr Yousef to surrender his gun that costed him his life after a PA police officer gave him as a gift a mobile phone that was used by the IOF troops to locate and assassinate him few days later.
The group also revealed that the police officer, who was found to be a spy for Israel, is now jailed in Gaza over the crime.
