Radwan: Israel attempting to incite the int'l public opinion against Hamas

[ 20/04/2011 - 02:17 PM ]

GAZA, (PIC)-- Senior Hamas official Ismail Radwan said Israel is trying to incite the international public opinion against his Movement through making lies that Hamas intends to carry out operations against it outside Palestine.

In a press release, Radwan stressed that Hamas restricts its resistance activities against the Israeli occupation only inside Palestine.

Israel's channel two on Tuesday evening claimed the Israeli security apparatuses arrested an Australian citizen from Saudi origin at Ben Gurion airport for allegedly trying to spy for Hamas.

It added that the Australian citizen, Iyad Abu Arja, tried to enter Israel after he received instructions from Hamas to take pictures of different sites, search for different equipment used for encryption, imaging and rocket control and to establish relations with Israeli commercial companies.

"This news does not deserve comment because the Zionist enemy accustomed itself to making lies and rumors in order to justify all its crimes against the Palestinian people," the Hamas official highlighted.
