AGGRESSION

Zionist entity continued on Thursday its furious military campaign on Lebanon's bridges, highways, hospitals, and many other vital facilities, retaliating for scores of Hezbollah rockets that rained down on the Occupied Territories and started to reach for the first time Haifa neighborhood, the third-largest city of the usurped entity.

The death toll had rose in one week of aggression, after the massacre in the southern town of Srifa ended up with more than 20 civilians dead and dozens wounded.

Heavy bombardment on the South was accompanied by a Zionist landing operation over the region of Der-Zahrani, Houmeen, Nmayreyye and Kfour. However, the Mujahedeen were lying in wait…
Till that day, Israeli warplanes had carried out more than 9000 raids, bombing and throwing cluster bombs, while targeting the most densely populated cities in north and south, to inflict maximum possible casualties to civilians.
In Dahye, the Zionist brutality became clearer. 23 Tons of explosives were thrown over one single building in Burj al-Barajneh neighborhood which Israelis thought it contained Hezbollah leaders. Shortly after that, Hezbollah declared that none of his members was there. Another tragic failure of Israeli intelligence..

On that day, Israeli entity withdrew from the membership of the World Federation of Press. In the meantime, the United States House of Representatives was discussing the possibility of supporting the Zionist military assault on Lebanon.
After seven days of bloodbath over the Lebanese lands, Russia officially declared that Israeli aggression had far exceeded any counter-terrorism operation.

CLASHES

Israel's offensive was among its heaviest in Lebanon. Yet, the sudden coming out of Mujahedeen in the southern villages of Lebanon had sent shock waves to the Zionist military machine, the US and all those who accused the Resistance of ‘adventure.’
Clashes occurred between Hezbollah and the invading IOF in the areas of Aitaroun, Kfar Kila, Aita al-Shaab and Maroun al-Ras, where Hezbollah declared the death of six invading soldiers and three mechanized vehicles were directly hit.
The then Zionist minister of Justice commented on the theatre events saying IOF facing harsh confrontation with well-trained fighters. “This cost us big losses,” he said.
The Zionist channel described confrontation with Hezbollah as Vietnam-like battles. Zionist Chief of Staff warned of long war of attrition.
Moreover, an Israeli helicopter was hit in clashes in the border area of Maroun al-Ras, a fact admitted by the ‘state’ television. Another two Merkava tanks were destroyed in the place.

MUJAHEDEEN

Sirens rang again in Haifa and other areas in northern Occupied Territories. Mujahedden launched their rockets and mortars over Karmael, Tebrias and Keryat Shmoneh. Hezbollah declared shelling the northern military base of Safad, Haifa and northern Galilee.
Demonstrations in Haifa nad the Galilee took place, demanding an end to the war. Zionist Foreign Minister said it was time for the return of German mediation to release prisoners, where the US Department of State warned of the risks of travelling to the Occupied Territories.

AL-SAYYED

Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah appeared on the Arabic-language news network Al-Jazeera to put new rules for the game.
His eminence said that Israeli attacks failed to faze Hezbollah politically or militarily.

"I can say at this moment, and assure without exaggeration, without psychological warfare, just facts, that the political leadership of Hezbollah has not been harmed," he said.

"Hezbollah has stood fast and absorbed the strike and now is going to initiate and will deliver surprises that it promises. We keep other things for ourselves that we'll do later on."

"We don't hide our martyrs. Throughout history, we have not done so," Sayyed Nasrallah said.
“Technical and intelligence failures have caused the Israeli military to strike the wrong targets,” his eminence clearly stated.

On this day of the year 2006, Zionist war machine was surprised on land. IOF was caught unprepared. Olmert started to count losses.
