OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)-- Turkish premier Recep Erdogan is to visit the Gaza Strip within two weeks and meet with Hamas officials, Hebrew press reported on Sunday.
Hebrew daily Maariv quoted Israeli sources as saying that Erdogan asked the Egyptian authorities to allow him visit Gaza during his Cairo trip by the end of this month, adding that Erdogan received no reply to his request so far.
It said that those sources warned that such a visit would harm efforts to restore normalcy to relations between Turkey and Israel.
