Sheikh Al-Azhar Dr. Ahmad Tayeb said on Friday that Islam has a pride in the presence of the bi Mujaheed Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah (Hezbollah Secretary General). Speaking during a meeting with a number of journalists and political activists who belong to the Nassirite movement, Sheikh Tayeb said that Sayyed Nasrallah alongside his loyal men taught the Zionists some unforgettable lessons. Sheikh al-Azhar noted that Egyptian ousted President Hosni Mubarak has incited him more than once to issue religious fatwas against Shia Muslims in general and Hezbollah in particular. He said that a number of Mubarak regime’s men sought to pressure him until the level of indirectly threatening him to fulfill Mubarak’s demand to doubt the Shia doctrine. Yet, he confirmed that he has always rejected such pressures because he perceived well it was politically motivated. | |||
