The change in Egypt was thought beneficial and this due to the affinities between the two brotherhoods, affinities that were extended to the Syria opposition as well but not in a very outspoken way.
The sectarian wave that overtook the region incited by Turkey and Qatar and their Western masters hit Gaza as well and the HAMAS people did not express their support to the Assad regime who hosted them and hosted their leaders for many years.
Too bad, we cannot but feel sorry that HAMAS has drifted along the sectarian line and has favored Turkey over Syria, as we felt sorry when Haniyya paid his tribute to Erdogan instead of Assad .
HAMAS should not be carried away from the heart of the struggle, it should beat to the tune of Arab hearts and souls and not to the tune of arranged manipulated springs Long Live the HAMAS we know, the protector of the cause that kept the fire burning regardless the huge sacrifices, we miss this HAMAS, the HAMAS of Sheikh Ahmad Yassin and that of Rantissi, the unflinching unwavering HAMAS friend of Iran, Syria and Hizbullah and of every dignified person in this world.
