Clinton bluffed in warning Russia, China over Syria: Analyst

China holds all of America’s debt. We are a debtor nation to China so they have control. And secondly, Russia has enormous amounts of natural resources, gas and oil and so there is no threat.”
I think it is a bluff.

An American journalist says US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton bluffed when she warned Russia and China over their stance toward the Syrian issue, Press TV reports.

“I think it is a bluff. I do not think there is any threat,” said Dr. E. Michael Jones, the editor of Cultural Wars magazine in Indiana, in an interview with Press TV on Friday.
Jones made the remarks several hours after Clinton warned Russia and China over their support for Syria and said Moscow and Beijing “will pay a price” for their stance toward the Syrian issue.

“The only way that will change is if every nation represented here directly and urgently makes it clear that Russia and China will pay a price,” Clinton stated during the so-called “Friends of Syria” meeting in Paris, which was boycotted by Moscow and Beijing.

The American journalist also stated that Washington had nothing to “hold over Russia or China.”

“China holds all of America’s debt. We are a debtor nation to China so they have control. And secondly, Russia has enormous amounts of natural resources, gas and oil and so there is no threat,” Jones added.

“I think this is frustration on the part of the Clinton administration that they cannot do again what they did in Libya, which was basically a looting operation under the guise of the Arab Spring.”

Meanwhile, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Liu Weimin censured Clinton for her criticism of Beijing’s stance toward Syria, saying her remarks were “unacceptable.”

Weimin said in a press conference in Beijing on Saturday that China is “not impeding the process of resolving the Syrian issues.”
