The Egyptian Army says it has destroyed 31 Gaza supply tunnels in its recent operation in the Sinai Peninsula.
Due to the Israeli blockade, some 1.5 million residents of Gaza are being denied their basic rights, including freedom of movement, the right to a decent standard of living, and proper employment, healthcare, and education.
Press TV has conducted an interview with Ralph Schoenman, an author and political commentator, from Berkeley, to further discuss the issue.
