Hezbollah denounced the offensive film to Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) as unmoral act which aims at inflaming hatred between Muslims and people of other religions.

In a statement released by Hezbollah Media Relations, the party said that the film reflects the real stance of Zionist-US coalition from Islam and Muslims.

The film which was recently broadcast in the United States and funded by extremist Jews and Egyptian Copts, in which our holy prophet (pbuh) was insulted, is unmoral act that represents highest level of aggression against loftier right of the human being which is respecting others belief.

It is also a suspicious move funded by extremist Jews and Copts, aimed at inflaming hatred and raising the level of strain between Muslims and Copts in Egypt in order to drag them into the cursed sedition, the statement said.

This assures that these acts are implementation of planned policies and cannot be considered as personal situations, Hezbollah said.

The film reflects the Zionist-US coalitions real position from Islam and Muslims. And in this context the statements of condemnation can no longer fool anybody.

The party wondered:
Where is the Arab League, the Organization of the Islamic Conference and the Muslim people, as well as the human rights organizations and the United Nations which we urge to release laws that criminate such acts in the manner of the laws that criminate anti-Semitic actions.

Patriarch RahiLebanese Maronite Patriarch Beshara al-Rahi said that the offense to Islam is an offense to all of us as he condemned the film that insulted Islam and the Prophet Mohammad (pbuh)....

Talking about the offensive film to Islam and Prophet Mohamamd (pbuh), Rahi regretted the movie by saying it is not only an offense to Islam but an offense to all of us, urging the withdrawal of this film from circulation.

The patriarch said that the Pope will call on the world during his visit to stop arming belligerents in the Syrian crisis.

The pope will definitely call for an end to the spiral of violence and to hatred, which are pointless, and for those who finance and arm both sides in the conflict to stop doing so.

War is not launched by Islam or Christianity, but by states, troublemakers or mercenaries" and "Islam and Christianity should unite over values in order to lay down the foundations for a true Arab Spring" of peace and reconciliation, Rahi said.

"I don't think that we would consider them an ally, but we don't consider them an enemy,"
"I think that we are going to have to see how they respond to this incident,"
"Certainly in this situation, what we're going to expect is that they are responsive to our insistence that our embassy is protected, our personnel is protected,"

"Staff and Crew of Film that Ridiculed Muslims Say They were Grossly Misled"

The filmmaker who went into hiding Bacile
remained defiant, saying Islam is a cancer
The 80 cast and crew members involved in the making of the movie that has roiled much of the Islamic world said Wednesday they were "grossly misled" about its intent and expressed sorrow over the resulting violence.

"The entire cast and crew are extremely upset and feel taken advantage of by the producer," they said in a statement to CNN about the movie, "Innocence of Muslims."

"We are 100% not behind this film and were grossly misled about its intent and purpose," continued the statement, which was sent to CNN by a member of the production staff who asked not to be identified for security reasons. "We are shocked by the drastic rewrites of the script and lies that were told to all involved. We are deeply saddened by the tragedies that have occurred."

Four Americans, including U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens, were killed Tuesday in Libya amid a regional furor over the film, which mocks Islam's prophet.

A casting call published in July 2011 in Backstage magazine and in other publications for actors identifies the working title of the movie as "Desert Warrior" and describes it as a "historical Arabian Desert adventure film."

An actress in the film who asked not to be identified said the original script did not include a Prophet Muhammed character. She added that she and other actors complained that their lines had been changed.

The actress said she spoke Wednesday with the producer, who is identified in the advertisement as Sam Bassiel. "He said he wrote the script because he wants the Muslims to quit killing," she said. "I had no idea he was doing all this."

"I would never be involved in a film to ever hurt or bring harm to anybody," she told CNN. "This makes me sick to my stomach to think that I was involved in that movie that brought death to somebody else."

The actress said the character of Muhammed in the movie was identified as George when it was shot, and that she returned afterward and read other lines that may have been dubbed into the piece.

A member of the production staff who worked directly on the film and has a copy of the original script corroborated the actor's account, adding that it mentions neither Muhammed nor Islam.
