Syrian Army Kills Scores of Terrorists across Country

Syrian ArmyThe Syrian Army struck hard on terrorist organizations on Saturday, with its units targeting and destroying more of their dens, vehicles and heavy weaponry, leaving large numbers of terrorists dead.

Deir Ezzor

Army units killed large numbers of terrorists of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) organization, among them non-Syrians, in Hweijet Sakr, al-Mrei’iyeh, al-Abd, and Mohassan in the eastern province of Deir Ezzor. Cannons and heavy weapons which the terrorists were using were destroyed.

Other units destroyed seven armored vehicles and two vehicles equipped with heavy machineguns and eliminated several ISIS terrorists including Ahmad Saleh Abdelmajid in al-Jafra, al-Mrei’iyeh, and Hweijet Sakr.

The army also destroyed five other vehicles, one of them loaded with weapons and ammo, and eliminated all the terrorists insdie them in the Seven Kilometers Roundabout area.

Homs

Units of the armed forces razed terrorists’ gatherings and dens in al-Rastan, Jabbourin, Beit Rabe’a and al-Hilaliyeh Farm in the countryside of the central province of Homs, leaving many of them dead and wounded.

Quneitra

Army units destroyed dens of takfiri terrorist organizations and several of their vehicles, some of which were equipped with heavy machine guns, in Bir Ajam and Mas’hara in the countryside of the southern province of Quneitra, killing many of the organizations’ members and leaving others wounded.

Damascus Countryside

Army units carried out a series of operations against terrorists in Jobar area in Damascus countryside, destroying terrorist hideouts and leaving many terrorists dead or injured.

An army unit pursued a terrorist group in al-Bustan neighborhood in Harasta area, killing two terrorists, while another unit eliminated a number of terrorists on the road between Erbin and Madyara southeast of Harasta.

In Douma area, army units destroyed several terrorist hideouts along with the weapons and ammo inside them in al-Ebb farms west of Douma city, killing eight terrorists from the “Islam Brigade” organization, in addition to eliminating several terrorists in Hosh al-Dawahra northeast of Douma.

An army unit destroyed terrorist hideouts, a weapons and ammo cache, and left 15 terrorists dead or injured in al-Rikabiye farms near the town of Deir al-Asafir in the southern part of Easter Ghouta area.

In Qalamoun, army units destroyed terrorist hideouts near Qara and Ras al-Ma’ara which are near the Lebanese borders, eliminating several terrorists and destroying their vehicles, weapons and ammo.

The town of Daraya also witnessed clashed between army units and terrorist groups, resulting in the death of terrorist Abdelsalam al-Jahoush, who was the leader of a terrorist group calling itself “the Eagles Brigade.”

In the southwestern countryside, an army operation resulted in the death of all members of a terrorist group and destroying their weapons in al-Khazrajiye farms near the town of Sa’sa’a.

Daraa

Army units destroyed vehicles belonging to terrorists in al-Ghariyeh al-Gharbiyeh, Dael and Ibtaa and razed others’ dens in Aqraba, al-Sheikh Miskeen, Bosr al-Harir and Inkhel in the countryside of the southern province of Daraa.

Idleb

Army units destroyed several of terrorists’ dens in the areas of al-Hbeit, Abu al-Duhour, Saraqeb, Taftanaz, al-Bara, Shahranaz, Maaret Harmeh and Hzano in the countryside of Idleb.

A military source said that the army units also targeted terrorists’ concentrations in al-Shughur, Umm Jarin, al-Baya’a and near al-Arba’in Mount in Idleb countryside.

Hama

Units of the army killed terrorists and wound others in Qleib al-Thour, Jurouh, Eqeirbat, al-Khdeira, Kafarzita and al-Latamneh in the countryside of the central province of Hama.
