Hezbollah mujahidin (fighters) advanced in Arsal barrens, controlling the strategic heights of al-Shuruk which overlook al-Rahwa, Wadi al-Khayl and Wadi Atnin areas where several Nusra Front commanders, including the group's chief commander in Qalamoun Abu Malek al-Talli, are based.
The Resistance fighters controlled militarily the area of al-Rahwa plain as Nusra terrorists incinerated their camps and fled collectively the battlefield.
Hezbollah liberated swathes of areas and many hills in Arsal barrens, clashing fiercely with the terrorists of al-Qaeda offshoot in Syria, Nusra Front, and killing scores of them.
