Syrian Army Controls Maheen Town in Homs Countryside

Battlefield sources told MaheenAl-Manar that the Syrian army and the popular committees controlled Maheen town in Homs southeastern countryside after clashing with ISIL terrorists and killing scores of them.

Syrian Army units established control over Tal al-Hash and the 82nd brigade camp adjacent of Sheikh Miskeen town, 22 km north of Daraa city in the southern province of Daraa, according to SANA.

Nusra Front (Qaeda branch in Syria) commander in Daraa Abu Mohammad Hafez was killed in Sheikh Miskeen in the province's countryside, according to Al-Manar sources which added that the terrorist group's military commander Ibrahim Khalil was wounded in the area.

 In the Eastern province of Deir Ezzor, the Syrian Army air force destroyed ISIL terrorists’ strongholds and vehicles, some equipped with heavy machineguns after targeting their hideouts and movement axes in the village of al-Jafrah, southeast of Deir Ezzor city, SANA mentioned.

The Syrian army air force targeted terrorist organizations’ positions and gatherings in the town of Morek, 30km north of Hama city in the central province, destroying a number of their positions with all weapons and ammunition inside, the Syrian agency added.
