OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)-- More than 200 Jewish fanatics on Wednesday morning stormed the holy Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem and offered Talmudic rituals on the anniversary of the so-called destruction of the temple.

The Aqsa foundation for endowment and heritage said in a statement that the Jews spread in various areas of the holy compound and roamed its plazas while performing those rituals under the full protection of Israeli occupation police.

The foundation addressed an urgent appeal to the Palestinians, Arabs and Muslims to immediately act to save the Aqsa Mosque from the judaization schemes.

Israeli settlers on Tuesday tried to usurp the house of a Jerusalemite in Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, local sources said, adding that the settlers told the Hanun family, the owners of the house, that the house was the property of those settlers.

Tens of citizens rushed to aid the family compelling those settlers to flee the scene and assaulted on their way Sammar Al-Sabagh, 44, causing her medium injuries.

The Israeli occupation police in Afula, north of 1948 occupied Palestine, arrested a Jerusalemite driver for trying to transport 26 Palestinian West Bankers to work in 1948 land.

In the West Bank, Israeli occupation forces (IOF) rounded up five Palestinians in various areas on Tuesday night including a student in Bir Zeit University only days after the failure of PA security loyal to ex-PA chief Mahmoud Abbas in capturing him.

In the Gaza Strip, IOF troops advanced east of Qarara town north of Khan Younis city to the south of the Gaza Strip and bulldozed cultivated lands amidst random firing.

Local sources told PIC reporter that the troops backed by tanks escorted bulldozers 200 meters deep into the area and bulldozed Palestinian fields.

OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)-- Director of the Quds media center Mohamed Sadeq warned on Tuesday of a Palestinian popular intifada (uprising) that could soon be taking place in the occupied city of Jerusalem if the Israeli settlers and police continued their violations against Jerusalemites and their property.

In a press statement, Sadeq said that the massive popular uprising of hundreds of Jerusalem people which happened over the last two days to support the residents of Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood was the first scene of a comprehensive popular uprising that could start in Jerusalem if Israel remained persistent in its arbitrary policies.

In another context, Ashraf Abu Zayed, the head of Hamas public action department, announced Tuesday the launch of the activities of anger and support for the West Bank in all Gaza provinces.

Abu Zayed said that massive angry marches and rallies would be organized all over the Strip during the coming five days in protest at the Palestinian Authority's violations in the West Bank.

The Hamas official noted in a press statement that his Movement decided to start these activities after the Palestinian masses became fed up with the crimes committed by the PA and Fatah against the West Bank people.
