RAMALLAH, (PIC)-- All municipal councils and employees affiliated with the Hamas Movement in the West Bank would be sacked soon, a well informed source in the ministry of local government of Salam Fayyad's illegitimate cabinet said on Sunday.
The source told the PIC reporter that the second list of municipal councils to be deposed was almost ready.
He said that a special committee was formed by the ministry to eliminate Hamas from all municipal councils.
For his part, Wasfi Qabaha, the former minister of prisoners' affairs, denounced the discharge of the elected municipal council of Qalqilia by the illegitimate government in Ramallah.
He said in a statement leaked from his Israeli prison cell on Sunday that the dismissal of all members of the council was a "national crime".
