OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)-- Tens of Jerusalemites and foreign activists marched in the streets of occupied Jerusalem to protest the Israeli occupation authority's (IOA) policy of demolishing Palestinian homes in the occupied holy city.

The march was organized on Friday in a show of solidarity with the families of Ghawi and Hanun who lost their homes in Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood.

The participants, who headed to the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood amidst intensified Israeli military presence, carried placards demanding an end to the IOA policy of demolition, displacement and forced expulsion of the indigenous inhabitants of the holy city.

They also called for ending the IOA settlement drive and ejecting families from their homes, and denounced in this respect the Jewish settlers' forced seizure of the homes of Ghawi and Hanun and demanded their immediate evacuation of the two homes.
