Hamas denounce Fatah's blockage of PLC session
Abu Zuhri, Qassem denounce Fatah's blockage of PLC session

GAZA, (PIC)-- Dr. Sami Abu Zuhri, a spokesman of Hamas movement, on Monday denounced the Fatah faction for obstructing the convening of a Palestinian legislative council session in Ramallah.
Abu Zuhri, in a press release, said that blocking the PLC session is another proof that Fatah refuses the results of the Palestinian democracy and puts hurdles in face of Hamas and its deputies.
He said that what happened was a clear depiction of fake democracy that Fatah wishes, explaining that Fatah only wants to win and if somebody else wins it coordinates with enemies to impede this result.
For his part, Dr. Abdul Sattar Qassem, the professor of political science at Najah university in Nablus, said that the Ramallah leaders consider their personal and partisan interests more important than the holy shrines and all of Palestine.
He told the PIC on Monday that Abbas's militias' blockage of the session gave a kind of green light to the Israeli occupation to continue in its aggression on the Aqsa Mosque and other holy shrines.
Qassem said that the other factions that did not attend were only parroting slogans about national unity. "These are false slogans because those factions only follow orders of those who finance them," he added.

RAMALLAH, (PIC)-- Dr. Aziz Dweik, the speaker of the Palestinian legislative council (PLC), has strongly denounced those responsible for blocking the PLC emergency session on Monday that was supposed to discuss Israeli attacks on Islamic holy shrines.
Dweik, in a press conference in Ramallah on Monday, said that all constitutional measures were followed in order to secure the convening of the session.
He held those who blocked the session responsible for its failure, adding that those who blocked the session are not interested in the issue of Jerusalem and Israeli violations against it and do not care for the Palestine cause.
"Today you realized who is the party that does not want reconciliation and does not want to reactivate the PLC and who is not concerned with the question of Jerusalem, the Aqsa, Ibrahimi, Bilal mosques and other sacred shrines," he told the reporters.
The PLC speaker said that Jerusalem, all Palestinian cities, the Aqsa Mosque and the Islamic and Christian shrines are above all parliamentary blocs and above all differences and obstructions.
