NAZARETH, (PIC)-- Israeli premier Benjamin Netanyahu was currently preparing a proposal to offer "security facilities" to the PA in Ramallah in return for resumption of direct talks amidst continuing "limited" settlement construction.

The Hebrew radio reported on Sunday that Netanyahu was planning to table the proposal during his meeting with American president Barack Obama in Washington after two weeks.

The Obama-Netanyahu meeting is also slated to discuss resumption of Israeli-PA direct talks amidst "restrained" settlement activity in the West Bank, the radio elaborated.

In a related context, Jerusalem Post newspaper said on Sunday that Tel Aviv was planning to hand over security control over a number of West Bank areas to the Ramallah authority.
