This information was pirated. We encourage people to seek out other such similar information, it is readily available in the public sphere and inside public officials' locked cabinets. This is a form of resistance that can be effectively sustained for a long while.
This project for one, has only just begun, do your bit so that this virtual list may come to bear upon the physical. Disseminate widely.”
The introductory note was followed by identification of 200 Israeli military people in command roles for the attack on Gaza, each of them personally responsible for behaving as a war criminal and commanding other Israeli military to act as war criminals.[2] A note from Mazin Qumsiyeh with information about other sites that have the identification material posted. On 22 November 2010 I received another note from Mazin.

They bear a distinctive personal responsibility. They range from low-level field commanders to the highest echelons of the Israeli army. All took an active and direct role in the offensive.

The real challenge
Of course I hate the actions of these war criminals. And I want them to be punished — severely! I don’t feel any compassion for them. But the problem is, and this I know only intellectually, not “in my gut”, if I really want a better world, then vengeance, punishment, will not work — it will only contribute to making things worse. I’ve made as strong an argument for this perception of reality as I can in my recent posting, The ethics of a just solution of the “Palestinian/Israeli” conflict. [3]
