Professor Salibi's health critically worsens in Israeli jails

NABLUS, (PIC)-- Ahrar center for prisoners' studies and human rights said that the health condition of university professor Mohamed Al-Salibi, 62, deteriorated badly and was transferred by the Israeli administration of Megiddo prison to hospital.

Professor Salibi is in administrative detention and was kidnapped by the Israeli occupation forces in December 12, 2009.

Director of the center Fouad Al-Khafsh said that the professor is in very critical health condition and was given 10 injections without his consent and after tying him up in Afula hospital.

His daughter said that that her father's face was pale and very thin when she visited him in the hospital, and he was unable to stand up.

She expressed fears for his life and appealed to human rights organizations to necessarily intervene to have him released from Israeli jails.
