[ 29/12/2010 - 10:40 AM ]

GAZA, (PIC)-- National and Islamic factions in the Gaza Strip called for removing all obstacles hindering the accomplishment of inter-Palestinian reconciliation in order to confront Israeli occupation and its aggressions.

The factions said in a press conference after a meeting with Hamas on Tuesday night that Palestinian unity should be restored in its capacity as the safety valve in face of dangers and challenges confronting the Palestinian people.

They said that plans must be adopted to repel any possible Israeli aggression on the Strip.

The factions asked the Arab League, Organization of Islamic Conference, human rights groups, and all free people of the world to assume their responsibilities in restraining the Israeli occupation and its incessant crimes against the Palestinian people.
