A potential political crisis is likely to reach a head in the coming months in Pakistan with the prospect of toppling the government coalition headed by the Pakistan’s People’s Party. And the failure or success of NATO and the United States in Afghanistan remains very dependent on Pakistani support that may not be sustained by a different government…..
An election may produce a hung Parliament and what happened in Iraq. A PML-N victory means a PML-N prime minister and PPP president — a recipe for disaster. The winning campaign slogan for PML-N (and Sharif is no friend of America) reinforcing the public’s resentment of Predator strikes and the burden the war on terror has imposed on it as well as redress of acute shortages of food, potable water and electricity will be “Predators, PPP and the U.S. Out!”
Now, any politically aware Pakistani would have told the writer that both Asif Ali Zardari and Nawz Sharif are two-faces of the same coin when it comes to American interests, corruption and the absence of moral courage. Furthermore, I wonder what excuse the dude will come up with for not using the US-Nato forces to bring regime-change in Israel so that the Middle East countries can live in peace – considering that Israel would have been a more ‘failed state’ had it not been to the USAID $3,000 billion since 1960s.

David Petraeus and the New York Times’ recent ‘inside relevations’ that senior US military officials believe they will soon be authorized to send American special-operations forces into Pakistan’s tribal areas with the aim of capturing figures from the Taliban and a virulent offshoot organization, the Haqqani network.
However, the NYT’s ‘Leaks’, like the ‘Wikileaks’ – was denied by Rear Adm. Gregory Smith, the deputy chief of staff for communications for the NATO force. He said that there was “absolutely no truth” to reports of planned ground operations by US forces inside Pakistan because NATO’s International Security Assistance Force, has “developed a strong working relationship with the Pakistan military to address shared security issues”. The ‘Wikileaks’ has reported that the West fears that Pakistani nukes could fall into hands of terrorist groups (anti-US, Israel and India). Ironically, it’s Israel which has stolen nuclear material and secrets from the US and France to build its nuclear arsenal in the 1960s.
Jeff Gates, Vietnam veteran, writer, author and attorney, wrote a five-part research article, titled America Needs Pakistan’s Help – Again in which he explained that in order to achieve American interests in that region – Washington should be fighting the home-grown pro-Israel Zio-fascism than worrying about the so-called “Islamic fanatics” in Pakistan and Afghanistan.
