GAZA, (PIC)-- Hamas leader Dr. Salah Al-Bardawil has condemned a statement by the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine that incited against the Islamic trend in Tunisia and called for foiling Islamization of politics so that the Gaza experience would not recur.
He said that Islamic parties are genuine components of the Arab societies, and all ideologies should respect such Islamic presence as part of the respect to political pluralism.
"Provocation against Islamic movements is a serious matter that we cannot condone," the Hamas leader elaborated.
The DFLP has to clarify this position and amend it and apologize for the harm done to all Muslims, Bardawil concluded.
