GAZA, (PIC)--
Hamas has condemned the passing by the Knesset of the Nakba law, which bans Palestinians in 1948-occupied Palestine from commemorating the Nakba, and another law allowing municipalities with large Jewish population to have admissions committees with the purpose of screening potential new residents, a law which is expected to affect non-Jews, mainly Palestinians.
The movement said, in a statement on Thursday, that it considers those laws as part of the racist war that the Zionist entity is waging against our people in the 1948-occupied Palestinian lands in a bid to obliterate their national identity to pave the way for uprooting them from their homeland.
The movement further called on Palestinians to remain steadfast in the face of those racist policies and called on the UN and human rights organisations to stop the Zionist occupation from committing more crimes against the Palestinian people and their national identity.
