After returning from their recent pilgrimage to Israel – five Republican congressmen lead by Rep. Doug Lamborn (Colorado) are planning to table a ‘Congressional bill’ that would require Washington to use the ‘military option’ to defend Israel if the Islamic Republic retaliates as result of Israeli attack on Iran. In 2007, the House also blessed Zionist regime for attacking unfinished nuclear reactor sites in Syria (2007) and in Iraq (1981).
According to Israeli paper Israel-Ayom, the bill states an “expression of support for Israel’s right to defend its sovereignty and to protect the lives and safety of its citizens and use all necessary means to confront and eliminate the nuclear threat that emerges from the Islamic Republic of Iran, including use military force in the absence of other diplomatic means available in the near future.”
This not the first time the US lawmakers have fallen on their knees for Jewish election contributions and fully-paid trips to some of Tel Aviv’s 280 brothels. Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX)) introduced HR-271 on May 23, 2011 – supporting Zionist entity’s right to defend its sovereignity by eliminating (imaginary) nuclear threat posed by the Islamic Republic of Iran. So far 44 lawmakers have co-sponsored the bill which has been reffered to House Foreign Affairs Committee.
In December 2009, the Jewish Saban Center for Middle East Policy at Brookings conducted a day-long simulation of the diplomatic and military fallout that could result from an Israeli military strike against the Iranian nuclear program. Kenneth M. Pollack analyzed that Israeli attack would have disastrous consequence for Israel and the region as that would draw the US and NATO on Israeli side and most probably Russia and China on Iran’s side. In addition to that Hizbullah, Hamas and (may be) Syria will rain missiles and rockets on almost every Israeli city.
Two of Republican Israel-Firsters Congressmen have demanded that Barack Obama apologize to Israeli prime minister Benji Netanyahu for his anti-Semitic remarks against him during his private conversation with French president Nicolas Sarkozy at G20 meeting in Paris. Pro-Israel Jewish groups have also slammed Obama for insulting Netanyahu.
New York Rep. Michael Grimm, chairman of the House Republican Israel Caucus, called the remarks “highly offensive,” “disgraceful” and “inappropriate.” New York Rep. Bob Turner agreed with Grimm by saying: “These are dangerous times in the Mideast, and we cannot allow Israel’s enemies to believe there is a crack of light between our relationship. This is the time to make clear that America stands resolutely beside her ally.”
Michael Grimm on the two-month anniversary of Occupy Wall Street told the protesters to “pack up, buy a bar of soap and get out of NYC“.
