Hezbollah: Iraq Attacks to Portray Cabinet Unable

Hezbollah denounced the latest bloody attacks in Iraq which killed 57 people.
“A number of terrorist blasts targeted Baghdad and a number of other cities on Thursday morning, in a coordinated and suspicious way.” Hezbollah said in a statement issued Thursday.

“Timing and method of implementation mark the fingerprints of criminals and instigators, led by the US administration that works on revenge against the Iraqi people, which stopped it (US) via resistance and steadfastness from achieving its goal of dominating Iraq and the entire region,” the statement read.

Hezbollah said the bloody blasts on Thursday which targeted children going to schools and citizens heading to work “sought to portray the Iraqi authorities unable to protect their people.”
“These deliberate attacks against [peaceful] Iraqi people came at the time when they are celebrating their triumph over the US occupation,” the statement added.

Hezbollah called on the Iraqi people to strengthen its unity and steadfastness, in order to deprive the occupier and its agents of the opportunity to achieve their criminal goals.

Hezbollah expressed deep condolences to the martyrs’ families, as well as its solidarity with those wounded due to the attacks, wishing them speedy recovery.
Thursday's violence in Iraq was the worst since four months, where multiple explosions have rocked the Iraqi capital city of Baghdad, killing at least 57 people and injuring more than 200 others.
