The Chairman of the Committee for supporting released Syrian detainees in "Israeli" jails, Ali Younes assured the correctness of reports talking about surprising "Israeli" military drills along the Syrian-Occupied Palestinian borders.

In an interview with "al-Intiqad" website, Younes highlighted that "the cease-fire line as well as the "Israeli"-Syrian border witnessed in the past and is currently witnessing "Israeli" military movements."

"These "Israeli" moves, also the mobilization of troops on the ceasefire-line are a coward demonstration of muscles," he said and noted that "Israel" tries to confirm its strength as well as its ability to initiate aggressions."

He further highlighted that "the "Israeli" entity always prepares for new aggressions especially in the context of the current Western pressure exerted on Syria."

Meanwhile, the released detainee from "Israeli" prisons denied that "the "Israeli" drills are linked to displaced Syrians in the occupied Golan, or are conducted as an anticipation of a possible flood of displaced Syrians to the occupied Palestinian territories."

"They aren't related to possible attacks and operations against "Israeli" targets from the Syrian border, as the "Israeli" "Yediot Aharonot" daily reported," Younes clarified.

In parallel, he confirmed that " the displaced Syrians who are in different parts of the occupied Golan and the nearby villages of the ceasefire-line, are merely temporary guests who will return sooner or later to their homes immediately after the Syrian army finishes its national duty."

Younes also saluted the Syrian Arab army on the occasion of the Liberation October War."

"The military capabilities of the Syrian Army greatly exceeded those in 1973," he concluded.

According to Brigadier General Amin Htait  the nature of the manoeuvres, where Israel exercises the Golan and Nato excercises in the Gulf were closer to the defensive action rather than prepare for offensive action, and therefore Israel relied on the United Nations to convey a message to Syrians that there is no offensive intentions.

In the Gulf, the task forces involved declared the excercie target are exclusively: «demining and opening the Hormuz Strait after potential close by Iran,  and here it should be recalled that Iran will not close Strait as long as its open for expoerting its oil. Preventing Irani  oil from crossing will lead to confrontation with Iran and would lead to all-out long range. Amin Htait is  convinced that America will not do that and therefore do not need the defensive step (Execises).

Brigadier General Amin Htait  concluded that the West and the Zionist exercises is neither preparation nor preparation for war against Iran or Syria and the resistance in Lebanonre, it is two-way psychological warfare to tighten the screws of their allies and followers and terrorize Syria, taking into conideration the confusion in the West and the erosion of terrorists morale   collapsing day after day....
