Al-Nusra Front terrorists in Syria demand ransom for 45 Fijian UN peacekeepers

Update: 10:17AM THREE demands have being made by the Al-Nusra Front group to the United Nations for the safe release of the 45 Fijian soldiers.
In a press conference this morning, Brigadier General Mosese Tikoitoga revealed that the three demands are: that their names be taken off the UN terrorist list, that they have be provided humanitarian assistance and that their three casualties be compensated.
Brig Gen Tikotioga said negotiations continue between the UNDOF and the group and also assured the safety of the Fijian soldiers.
Meanwhile, a prayer vigil is expected to be held at the Centenary Church at 12 noon for the 45 soldiers.
