GAZA, (PIC)-- Dr. Atef Adwan, a Palestinian lawmaker, stated Saturday that the Geneva initiative was the most dangerous agreement to eliminate the Palestinian cause, stressing that it gave the Israeli occupation the right to keep many settlements in the West Bank and ignored the Palestinian refugees’ right of return.

at a lecture organized by Hamas in Jabaliya refugee camp, Dr. Adwan said that many agreements that were signed in the history of the Palestinian cause did not address the right of return, especially the Geneva initiative which was proposed in 2003 to solve the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.

The Palestinian lawmaker added that this accord gave Israel a green light to ignore the right of return and considered it as a dilemma and not a legitimate right.

The lawmaker noted that the attempts to resettle Palestinian refugees in other countries and tempt them into living in any country around the world did not stop, but the Palestinian people did not yield or renounce their right to return to their occupied lands.

He also spoke during his lecture about the history of the Palestinian cause since the Nakba until the current period, deploring the Palestinian negotiator for making a lot of concessions.
