25/05/2009 An Israeli security source told Maariv daily that “it is too early to determine what the Lebanon election results would be like, but everything is accounted for.” According to Maariv, the source stressed that “the political course of Hezbollah and its control of the Lebanese parliament would legitimize an Israeli act against it, because the transformation of the party from a terror organization into a state, provides Israel with other operational choices against it.”

Hezbollah already has deputies in parliament and is also represented by ministers in the Cabinet.
The March 14 political bloc, mainly the head of the Future Movement MP Saad Hariri, has been voicing concern that the upcoming election is decisive. The bloc also linked the outcome of the election with the economic future of Lebanon. Several western states, however, have stated that they will deal with any government that will be formed after the June 7 elections.

Maariv said that the June election will be decisive for the future of the Middle east and wondered about the “destination of the country of cedars.” The daily also expressed concern that “Lebanon could cease to be a pro-west democratic country on the one hand, and become part of the axis of evil.”
“Election results cannot be changed. In fact, the talks held between the Druze leader Walid Jumblatt and Hezbollah indicate that the Druze have fears about changes in this country emanating from differences within the Hariri axis.”

The zionist state conducts a five-day military exercises across the occupied territories between May 31 and June
