OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)-- The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) is planning to build a new settlement in Walaja village, occupied Jerusalem, that would comprise 14,000 housing units, a report by the Israeli B'Tselem for human rights organization revealed.

The organization published a report on its website on Tuesday saying that the new settlement would be built southwest of Jerusalem.

It said that settlement societies in Jerusalem were the ones planning the new settlement that would be established on the Arab village's farming lands.

The plan envisages accommodating 45,000 settlers in 14,000 housing units, B'Tselem said, noting that the plan would include confiscation of Palestinian land and demolition of some of the village's houses.
