AL-KHALIL, (PIC)-- Israeli occupation forces (IOF) fired rubber-coated bullets and gas canisters at Palestinian villagers in Beit Ummar, north of Al-Khalil city, on Tuesday wounding three of them.

Eyewitnesses told the PIC reporter that four IOF armored vehicles stormed the village in the afternoon and were met with stone throwing villagers.

The IOF troops launched a night search campaign in Tulkarem that focused on supporters of the Hamas Movement especially those recently freed from the jails of Mahmoud Abbas, the former PA chief.

The soldiers handed tens of citizens notifications for interrogation at intelligence centers.

Abbas's militias also continued their arrest campaigns against resistance supporters and kidnapped on Tuesday three Islamic Jihad affiliates and a Hamas supporter in Tulkarem district.

Local sources said that the three were taken from Kufr Abboush village while the Hamas supporter was kidnapped from Tulkarem city.
