NABLUS, (PIC)-- Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Thursday rounded up 11 Palestinians in the districts of Nablus, Ramallah and Jenin at the pretext they were wanted for interrogation, local sources reported.

They noted that the IOF soldiers searched the citizens' homes and questioned their relatives in the process.

In Jenin, the soldiers threatened parents of a wanted youth, who was not found in his home, that he would be liquidated if he did not give himself up.

Meanwhile, a 23-year-old Palestinian from the Gaza Strip was sentenced by an Israeli military court to life behind bars for participation in an attack on a settlement to the northwest of Beit Hanun in northern Gaza. Mamduh Tanun was arrested since 25/8/2007.

IOF troops also demolished a Palestinian home east of Yatta village, Al-Khalil district, on Thursday at the pretext of lack of construction permit.

The house, owned by a Palestinian lady, was built 11 years ago.
