Action front: Israel’s intent to displace W. Bankers poses a threat to Jordan

AMMAN, (PIC)-- The Islamic action front, the largest political party in Jordan, on Wednesday warned of the Israeli decision to deport thousands of Palestinians from the West Bank, saying it poses a real threat to Jordan.

Hassan Dunaibat, a senior official in the party, noted that while the Israeli government is embarking on taking practical steps to transfer Palestinians from their land, Arabs stupidly continue to talk about the settlement process.

Dunaibat stressed that this Israeli decision was taken in light of the escalating settlement and Judaization activities in occupied Jerusalem and the West Bank, pointing out that the Palestinians are expelled from their lands while the Jews are brought from all over the world to replace them.

He called on the Arab countries to stand in the face of the aggressive and expansionist mentality of Israel through renouncing the option of settlement and supporting the Palestinian resistance.

For his part, Hamas representative in Lebanon Osama Hamdan warned of the repercussions of the Israeli decision to expel thousands of Palestinians from the West Bank, stressing that this decision was a fruit of the peace process.

In a press statement to the Jordanian Al-Sabeel newspaper, Hamadan pointed to the fact that as long as the other parties are submissive and vulnerable giving Israel everything it likes, such serious steps must be expected.

The Hamas official called on the Arab countries and the Palestinian Authority in Ramallah to take serious action that could end the Israeli arrogant attitude through declaring the failure of the settlement option and stating that the usurped Palestinian rights can only be restored by the option of resistance.
