Rezka: Settlement in OJ a slap in the face for Ramallah authority
[ 07/04/2010 - 09:44 AM ]
GAZA, (PIC)-- The Israeli occupation authority's (IOA) continued building of settlement units in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem constituted a political slap in the face for the Ramallah authority and for the so-called Arab moderation axis, Dr. Yousef Rezka, a political advisor to Palestinian premier Ismail Haneyya, said.
He added in a statement on Tuesday evening that the IOA's disregard of international resolutions went in harmony with its disrespect for the Palestinian negotiator and the Arab moderation axis.
He held Salam Fayyad, the premier of the illegitimate government in Ramallah, responsible for what is happening in Jerusalem, adding that begging for negotiations with the IOA would not bring any good to Jerusalem or bridle the IOA schemes in the holy city.
Rezka asked the Arab and Islamic masses to adopt a serious and practice position toward occupied Jerusalem and the holy shrines.
