AL-KHALIL, (PIC)-- Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested ten Palestinian citizens in the districts of Al-Khalil, Nablus, Ramallah, and Jenin at dawn Tuesday.

Hebrew paper Yediot Ahronot claimed on its website that those arrested were wanted for participating in attacks on Israeli targets.

Local sources affirmed the news, adding that five of those detained were arrested in Al-Khalil, while one was detained in Jenin village of Yaabad following the dawn prayers.

They said that IOF troops burst into four homes in Siris village, Jenin district, and held field interrogations with their owners.

Israeli occupation police have been launching large-scale search campaign in Silwan and Isawiye in occupied Jerusalem over the past few days that ended with the detention of ten citizens.

Local sources said that the policemen smashed windows and broke the doors of many homes during the campaign and ransacked the searched homes.
