ISTANBUL, (PIC)-- The Turkish Foreign Minister, Ahmet Davutoglu, said on Thursday that his government will not accept and Israeli investigation into the attack on the Freedom Flotilla which was on its way to Gaza, asserting Turkish demand of an international investigation into the attack which took place in international waters.
Davutoglu said, in a press conference held at the end of Arab-Turkish Business Forum: "We will never accept an Israeli investigation. This crime was committed in international waters, so it is an international crime. We will relentlessly follow through on this issue at all international levels."
Arab officials, including Walid al-Mualem, Syria's Foreign Minister, expressed their support for Turkish efforts to end the siege on the Gaza Strip.
