Radwan: Elevating PA diplomatic representation political bribe
[ 27/07/2010 - 11:24 AM ]
GAZA, (PIC)-- Dr. Ismail Radwan, a Hamas leader, has described as a "political bribe" the US and French decision to elevate the diplomatic representation of the PA in their capitals.
He said in a press release on Tuesday that the step was deceiving the public opinion into believing that the PA was progressing, other than serving as a bribe for the PA to go to direct talks with the Israeli occupation authority (IOA).
Radwan said that such talks would take place at a time the IOA was Judaizing occupied Jerusalem and at a time the PA was offering more concessions.
He further charged that the act was mere false and flimsy promises, which would lead to nothing except more capitulation regarding national rights and constants.
The Hamas official ruled out reports that the move constituted the start of crystallizing a Palestinian state, saying, "What state would be created with 600 roadblocks in the West Bank, Judaization of Jerusalem, and continuation of settlement activity other than the daily attacks on Palestinians."
