GAZA, (PIC)-- Hamas MP Mushir Al-Masri has affirmed that statements of Bernard Kouchner, the French Minister of Foreign Affairs , that his country was ready for talks with Hamas if the Fatah-controlled PA in Ramallah asked for it proved that Fatah was involved in inciting the world against Hamas and other resistance movements.
Masri, in a press statement on Sunday night, said that Kouchner's statement is a fresh proof that certain Palestinian and regional parties were preventing the world community from recognizing the result of the Palestinian general election.
He said that Hamas was in hostility only with Israel that is occupying Palestinian land and holy shrines, adding that his movement was ready to open dialog with any country for the sake of achieving Palestinian legitimate rights.
Kouchner said that Paris was prepared to have talks with Hamas if the PA in Ramallah asked for it, adding that it would ask Syria to mediate for such talks. He also opined that there would be no peace agreement without Hamas.
