DAMASCUS, (PIC)-- Ezzat Al-Resheq, a member of Hamas’s political bureau, sent a letter to imprisoned Sheikh Hasan Yousuf to comfort him and express the Movement’s admiration for his patience and fortitude especially after he disowned his eldest son who renounced his religion and disgraced himself and his country by such an act.
Resheq told Sheikh Yousuf that his disownment of his son Musab was enough to silence all voices which exploited this anomaly and irregular incident to tarnish the reputation of Hamas.
The Hamas official hailed in a lengthy letter the position of Sheikh Yousuf and the extraordinary patience he showed for trials and tribulations despite the ordeal of imprisonment.
